Each volume of CODA features a single cover artwork licensed from a selected artist.

Unlike the journal, which commissions original artwork in dialogue with individual stories, CODA draws from an artist’s existing body of work. One piece is selected and licensed to serve as the visual identity of the volume as a whole.

Inside, the poetry remains uninterrupted by artwork, allowing the poems to move in their own sequence while the cover stands as the volume’s singular visual gesture.
