Fifth

Corner

Each issue of The Fifth Corner features one selected CODA poet, whose work appears as the closing poetic gesture of the issue.

Alongside the selected poet, a shortlist of distinguished poems is chosen from each reading cycle. These shortlisted works are then gathered with the selected poets in the CODA Annual, creating a yearly volume that reflects the breadth and character of the poetry recognized by The Fifth Corner.

Together, the issue selection and annual shortlist form the continuing record of CODA: one poet at a time, and one larger collection at the end of each publishing year.
