Dear Readers,

This summer marks another chapter for The Fifth Corner.

With Issue No. 2, we introduce CODA, a dedicated space for poetry, as well as the Emerging Voices Fellowship, created to support and publish exceptional writers under the age of eighteen.

We are also honoured to welcome Attia Hayee as the commissioned artist for this issue. Her work was created in dialogue with the fiction gathered here, continuing our commitment to bringing literature and visual art into conversation.

As The Fifth Corner grows, our purpose remains unchanged: to publish distinctive work with care, intention, and respect for the people who create it.
